Close your eyes for a second, picture yourself around your Christmas tree on Christmas Eve with the crackle of a wood burning fireplace in the background. Got it? Now what do you smell? Star Anise? Cloves? Orange? Peppercorn? Cinnamon? Thats what I envision anyways, and that is exactly with we added to our Christmas Syrup, among other ingredients of course. Think, Mulled Wine, in a syrup form. It’s hard to not want to drink this straight from the bottle, but don’t do that, it’s basically all sugar, so yeah. What have I don’t with this syrup? I’ve mixed it with my favorite whiskey to give it a little something extra, and I’ve even drizzled it on my baked goods to add a little Christmas love to my creations. This is a seasonal item, so once it’s gone, its gone for the year.
